Digital broadcaster Virgin Media and car manufacturer Nissan have teamed up for a live brand experience at The Roof Gardens in Kensington. The pair hosted the Nissan Juke Virgin Red Room event, which showcased some of the brightest musical talent and encouraged audience participation via a number of social networking sites. Speaking to Event magazine, Virgin.com executive producer Bob Fear said: "Music is very much at the heart of the Virgin brand. "The Red Room will be driven by its community, with tweeted questions, bedroom bloggers and user generated credits being key elements of the show." A host of other firms were involved in the live brand experience, with bar staff mixing up Red Room Martinis made from Ketel One Vodka and Red Bull. Recently, the Co-operative enlisted Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos to launch a music-led live brand experience at the O2 Dome, in London. The event was part of the Co-op's wider Inspiring Young People campaign. Written by David Farrior |
