Games console software developer Ubisoft is set to promote its latest Nintendo Wii game with a touring live brand experience. The firm, which is behind the summer hit Just Dance, is hoping to boost sales of the game's sequel by targeting students with a touring disco bus. Just Dance 2 will be showcased during the live brand experience in a modified flat-bed truck. The vehicle will boast a vibration-sensitive LED dance floor, a huge sound system and a glittering disco ball. Ubisoft's live brand experience disco will be touring university's around the UK until October 25th. Ubisoft spokesperson Mark Slaughter told Event magazine: "Trial activity is key element of our marketing plans this year, allowing the consumer to engage and experience our brands and ultimately have fun, which is what our games are all about." He added that the live brand experience feedback received so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Recently, Canon launched its first European live brand experience - showing that the marketing method is becoming an accepted part of modern promotion. Written by Michael Ewing |
