Live brand experience: World's first carwalk

Businesses looking to create a unique live brand experience should take note of the eye-catching display used to promote designs for London Fashion Week. Vauxhall Fashion Scout, which showcases up-and-coming designers at London Fashion Week, has created an unusual fashion show which takes place on top of cars. A 20-metre-long "carwalk" sits across the roofs of three Vauxhall cars and has been touring around London to offer passers-by a brand experience since February 16th. Models have been carefully trained on how to sashay their way down this unusual catwalk which stands at over 1.5-metres high. "What better way to highlight our long-running commitment to emerging British fashion than by creating the world's first carwalk and giving young designers a unique platform to showcase their talents," said Wendy Towler, Vauxhall Motors manager for consumer communications. Usually designers display their collections in pop-up shop brand experiences, as Debenhams did recently as it opened a shop near Carnaby Street in London's West End. Posted by Elizabeth Mewes |
