Live brand experience: Shoppers invited to say cheese in Colgate campaign

Shoppers at Westfield were told to "say cheese" as part of a live brand experience with Colgate recently.

The toothpaste company invited shoppers to take part in the brand experience, which is part of its "share a smile" project for the children's charity Barnado's.

Smiles were captured on camera and posted to a living wall on Eat Street, at the main pedestrian walkway into the Westfield shopping centre.

Sam Coleman, communications director at MEC Global, said: "Colgate's most recent campaign required members of the public to interact with the campaign.

"Ocean's Eat Street digital platform enabled almost immediate interaction to occur, creating an exciting proposition for consumers to get involved and therefore enhancing engagement with the brand itself. It was a great success."

Meetpie recently reported that Hamish Pringle, director general of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising, called live brand experiences a great way to connect with customers and let them have access to information.
