Live brand experience: Online shop takes to Covent Garden to showcase watches
Date: 2011-07-07
An online watch boutique will leap out of the screens to host a live brand experience in Covent Garden at the end of June to showcase its collection to customers. Design magazine Dezeen will showcase design led watches to people who may not have seen the designs before, as they are usually sold on the internet, Professional Jeweller reports. Beginning on July 10th, the brand experience will sell brands including Michael Young, Naoto Fukasawa, Karim Rashid, SANAA, Ziiro, Uniform Wares, Aurora, Industrial Facility and Scott Wilson, and customers will be able to try before they buy – something not offered with an online store. With prices ranging from just £59 to £540, there's something for everyone – and the event has a green energy element too. The store, at 55 Neal Street in London, will be decorated with designer energy-saving light bulbs from Plument – and for those who enjoy the lighting at the live brand experience, the bulbs will also be on sale at the event. Marketing Week recently said that live brand experiences are a great way of promoting an brand to consumers, as they allow the chance to 'immerse' in an idea. Posted by Elizabeth Mewes |
